The consumer may also use the European online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

ARTICLE 16 – SUBSCRIPTIONS AND ONLINE SERVICES

Some Tap2Star services are offered on a subscription basis: detailed statistics and multi-link pages. Each may be taken out independently of the other, and independently of any product purchase.

16.1 – Billing period and price

The subscription is taken out on a monthly or yearly basis, at the customer's choice. The yearly plan is billed on the basis of ten months: two months are free compared with the monthly price. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of subscription; it holds for the whole of the current period.

16.2 – Automatic renewal

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, for an identical duration, by charging the card on file. There is no minimum commitment: renewal continues for as long as the customer does not stop it.

In accordance with Article L215-1 of the French Consumer Code, a non-professional customer holding a yearly subscription is informed by email, at the latest one month before the due date, of the renewal date and its amount.

16.3 – Cancellation

The customer may cancel at any time from their account, under "Payment methods", without giving a reason and at no cost. Cancellation ends the automatic renewal: no further payment is taken, and the service remains accessible until the end of the period already paid for.

The current period is not refunded pro rata, unless the law provides otherwise. Until that term is reached, the customer may reverse their decision from the same screen.

16.4 – Failed payment

If a payment fails, it is retried three times: the same day, then the following day, then the day after that. The service remains fully accessible throughout these attempts.

If every attempt fails, the customer's pages stay online but editing is suspended. Three days after the first failure, the pages are taken offline and the subscription is cancelled automatically.

The customer is notified by email at each stage. They may settle the payment at any time from their account: payment immediately restores access and the pages, in the state they were in. The customer's data is retained and a new subscription remains possible.

16.5 – Changing plan

Moving up to a higher plan takes effect immediately; only the price difference is charged, pro rata for the time remaining in the current period. The renewal date is unchanged.

Moving down to a lower plan, or changing the billing period, takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: until then the customer keeps the level they paid for.

16.6 – Right of withdrawal

A non-professional customer has fourteen days from subscription in which to withdraw. Where they expressly ask for the service to begin before that period expires β€” which is the case as soon as the subscription is activated β€” they remain liable for the amount corresponding to the service already provided. This right does not apply to professional customers.

16.7 – Payment method

Payments are processed by our payment provider. The card number does not pass through our servers and is never stored there: we keep only the brand, the last four digits and the expiry date, so that subsequent payments can be taken and the customer warned before a card expires. It is the customer's responsibility to keep a valid payment method on file.
